Shipping methods

The prices listed on the site do not include shipping costs unless expressly stated in a specific promotion. Product prices may change at any time without prior notice. Promotions from other sources cannot be combined with those offered on this site.

The customer agrees to provide a valid, verifiable address where the order can be delivered. The address entered in our system must match the shipping address provided on PayPal if paying through that platform. If the customer provides an address that the courier cannot locate, any additional costs will be the customer’s responsibility.

All shipments made by us and our suppliers are carefully packaged. If your order is delivered with physical damage caused by the courier, you must add a note to the delivery receipt when signing for the courier, indicating that the package shows signs of mishandling (open, dented, punctured, wet box, etc.). Without this note, you are considered to have accepted the package in good condition. If the delivery driver does not allow you to write anything on the delivery slip, you should NOT accept the package.

Once you or someone at the delivery address has received the package, you have 24 hours to report any damage or missing items. After this period, no changes or claims will be accepted.

Shipping types

Domestic Shipping – Mexico: Delivery time for domestic shipments (within Mexico) is 1 to 5 business days once your order has been received and processed.
International Shipping – Rest of the World: Delivery time for international shipments is 5 to 15 business days depending on the destination. For urgent orders, please contact a representative.

• FREE Shipping:

Standard FREE shipping is provided by DHL and applies to purchases within Mexico, subject to a minimum order amount. Once your order is processed, if the items are in stock, your products will be shipped no later than the next business day (Monday to Friday) and will arrive within 2 to 5 days.

• Express Shipping:

Express shipping is generally handled by DHL. Shipping prices are calculated based on the weight and volume of the products and are for urgent deliveries. Shipping costs are calculated according to the volumetric weight of the product. Once your order is processed, if the items are in stock, your products will be shipped no later than the next business day (Monday to Friday) and will arrive at their destination within 1 to 2 business days.

Total delivery time = Processing time (1-3 business days) + Transit time. Processing time depends on the items you purchased.

Taxes – (International Shipping)

In some countries, you will have to pay import taxes. Sometimes, certain products are exempt. The rules vary from country to country depending on the product. Sometimes different rules apply, and other times they are applied randomly. If you are required to pay import taxes, you will have to pay them when you receive the goods.

Unfortunately, we cannot calculate this cost, and it cannot be prepaid. If you are selling to a third party or giving the item as a gift, please check if the recipient is willing to pay the taxes. If you purchase something from our website and are surprised to find that you have to pay taxes upon receiving your order, please keep in mind that Artesanía de México is an independent Mexican company and separate from any tax collection agencies. Please research import taxes in your country as thoroughly as possible. If you find information about taxes in your country and believe there are ways to reduce or obtain tax exemptions, we are happy to assist you with labels, packaging, declarations, invoices, etc. Just let us know what we need to do, and we will gladly help.
